I was blessed again today. It went better today than a week or so ago. There was no wet palm frond involved, and there were treats. Smart move. The Love Your Pet Expo and Animal Blessing was at the Spiritual Center for Positive Living in Cameron Park. Rev. Pattie Weber blessed Ella and me. I already felt blessed but who can turn down more blessings. I thought I heard her say something about a Saint Ollie, but I can’t be for sure, because I got a little distracted by the rastafarian alpaca that was wandering around. I kid you not. Bad picture of it below. Mostly it was a nice group of dogs. One or two were a little too nice. Then there was the German Shepherd who was practicing some negative living and really needed his owners to watch a few episodes of Cesar Millan. Barking and lunging not cool but hey, maybe that’s why they brought him to the spiritual center today. I smelled some patchouli wafting about. Maybe the rastifarian alpaca dabbed some behind his hooves.

This me and Ella, Sarge and Suki being blessed by Rev. Pattie Weber.
This dog was a bit too friendly, but check out that G. S. far left. Calling Cesar! How is that for a confusing scenario. Happy, right, mad, left. Friendly, right, crazed, left. Ralph, the white poodle, and Jazz, the black poodle with Mary and Dave Anderson are also blessed. Penny the cat has just spotted the rastifarian alpaca – seen below. I heard the owner, an animal communicator, say something that he was a bit out of sorts or misbehaving or having a time out, something like that. Seriously. Could it be the hat? The environment? The dozens of dogs? Don’t know. Anne didn’t want to post this photo because she says it is bad. She gave some excuse about bad light and it being a bit hard to take photos while holding back two dogs on a leash. I just want you to see I’m not lying about seeing a rastifarian alpaca. I don’t think I could even dream of that one.
