ODD is how I would describe my day. All day long I could feel something near me and occasionally I’d glimpse a pom pom hovering over my head! It was like a UFO, just hanging out, not talking, not making any noise, no flashing lights, just there, but usually out of sight. Now I know how it feels to be followed. It’s spooky. Definitely discombobulating. Somewhat confounding. Completely bewildering. UnNeRViNg. The pom pom began to be vaguely familiar. Hmmmm. Where had I seen it before? Ohhhhh, no, yes, now I remember. It was that cute, soft pom pom I tore off my the hat Anne had placed out of my way on her desk that I sneeked up and got while she was out! The pom pom has come back to haunt me. I really didn’t mean to separate it from the hat. It just happened. It looked like a toy. It felt like a toy. I love my toys. I gnawed a bit. It came off. I rolled it around. Then forgot it. I don’t know what it is trying to tell me, but I promise, I will try to leave pom poms alone in the future. Really. Doggy scouts honor.
